Starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Carey Mulligan and Joel Edgarton
8/10
I read a couple of reviews before watching this and all of them were basically going leo = awesome, everything else = poo. I actually thought Leo was amazing and everything else was brilliant. I liked the depth and character Mulligan gave to Daisy, it’s a level I never appreciated in the book and thought it was wonderful to see. Dicaprio and Mulligan acted perfectly together, they were so in love; the most love I’ve ever seen two actors create together and it was astounding to watch. The main issue is the edit, I really couldn’t stand some of the pacing and sound edit. Lana’s song was PERFECTION.
